Senior Manager – Revenue Optimization

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Manager, Revenue Optimization to lead our efforts in maximizing revenue across our subscription-based products. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize pricing, packaging, promotions, and retention initiatives. You will work closely with product, marketing, finance, and data teams to identify opportunities, execute tests, and drive measurable improvements.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue optimization strategies across pricing, packaging, promotions, and retention.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify revenue growth opportunities.
  • Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of different pricing models, promotional offers, and product bundles.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure pricing and packaging strategies align with product roadmap and value proposition.
  • Partner with marketing to optimize promotional campaigns and messaging for maximum conversion and revenue.
  • Work closely with finance to forecast revenue, track performance against targets, and provide insights for financial planning.
  • Lead initiatives to improve customer lifetime value (LTV) through enhanced retention strategies and churn reduction efforts.
  • Monitor key revenue metrics, develop dashboards, and provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Mentor and guide a team of revenue optimization analysts (if applicable, as the team grows).

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or a related quantitative field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in revenue optimization, pricing strategy, growth marketing, or a similar analytical role, preferably in a subscription-based business.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful revenue-driving strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and experience with optimization tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with SQL and/or other data querying languages is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
