As an AI Business Analyst, you will be crucial in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions in the AI/ML space. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define requirements, analyze data, and drive the successful implementation of AI-powered features and products. This role requires a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and AI/ML development teams, translating business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, data, and user needs to identify opportunities for AI/ML solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics for AI initiatives.
- Create detailed documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and data models.
- Perform data analysis and visualization to support decision-making and uncover insights related to AI/ML projects.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present findings, and obtain stakeholder alignment.
- Assist in the testing and validation of AI/ML models and solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver desired outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented AI/ML solutions, recommending enhancements and optimizations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging AI/ML technologies, and best practices to inform strategic recommendations.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on AI/ML projects.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, methodologies, and their practical applications.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or AI/ML is a plus.
