Reclaim, a recent acquisition, is an AI-powered smart calendar assistant that finds the best time for your meetings, tasks, habits, and breaks. We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Product Software Engineer to join the team and help build the future of time management.
What you’ll do:
– Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services for Reclaim.
– Work closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to define, build, and ship new features.
– Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and operation.
– Improve the performance, scalability, and stability of existing systems.
– Participate in on-call rotations and help resolve production issues.
– Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
What you’ll bring:
– 7+ years of experience in backend software development.
– Strong proficiency in a modern backend language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Ruby, Node.js).
– Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architecture.
– Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
– Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous programming.
– Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing best practices.
– Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
– Experience working on product-focused teams and iterating quickly.
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
