As a Staff Researcher, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of our product by bringing a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations. You’ll lead complex, strategic research initiatives, partnering closely with product, design, and engineering teams to identify opportunities, validate ideas, and drive impactful product decisions. What you’ll do
- Deeply understand an area of the product through mixed methods research.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners to identify research questions and opportunities.
- Design and execute research studies end-to-end, including scoping, recruitment, data collection, analysis, and synthesis.
- Clearly communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to diverse audiences through compelling presentations and reports.
- Contribute to the broader Research team through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.
- Champion a user-centered approach to product development, ensuring the voice of the customer is represented throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience conducting product research in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to lead complex, ambiguous research initiatives from start to finish.
- Expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., in-depth interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, field studies).
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for empowering users and a deep curiosity about human behavior.
- Bonus: Experience with no-code/low-code platforms, visual development tools, or design systems.
- Bonus: Experience working on platform or foundational research.
