Biosolutions Engagement Leader – Clinical Research Central Labs Services

The Biosolutions Engagement Leader, Clinical Research Central Labs Services is a highly visible position with the primary responsibility for driving the overall strategy and growth of the Central Labs business, particularly for Biopharma clients. This role works in close partnership with Business Development, Alliance Management, Account Management, and Scientific & Medical leadership teams. Based in the USA, this is a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy development for the global Central Labs business, defining the strategy and positioning of the Central Labs for Biopharma clients across the full portfolio of services.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and execute on the Central Labs strategy to meet revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Support the evaluation of new products, services, and partnerships to expand the Central Labs offering.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing deep insights into industry trends and challenges.
  • Represent Central Labs at industry conferences and events, presenting on key topics and networking with potential clients.
  • Work with Marketing to create compelling messaging and collateral that articulates the value proposition of Central Labs.
  • Mentor junior staff within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with other leaders across the broader organization to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client solutions.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key Biopharma Central Labs decision-makers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life science-related field, business, or a relevant discipline. Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Clinical Research industry, with a focus on Central Laboratory Services or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, strategy, or account management roles within the Biopharma sector.
  • Strong understanding of the drug development lifecycle and the role of central labs in clinical trials.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive growth, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate complex ideas into actionable plans.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of the clinical research industry and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
