As an Android Engineer on our Advertising team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, impactful software that drives business growth for advertisers while respecting the user experience. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers to build and launch new features, as well as maintain and improve existing ones. What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable Android applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge with the team.
- Work effectively in an agile development environment.
Who you are
- 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality Android applications to Google Play.
- Experience with Kotlin and Java.
- Deep understanding of Android SDK, UI/UX best practices, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with various architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVI) and their trade-offs.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso) and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with advertising technologies (e.g., Google AdMob, Facebook Audience Network) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
