About the Role
This organization is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join its Optimization team. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role where you will be an expert on optimization products and services, engaging directly with customers to understand their challenges and design innovative solutions using quantum computing technologies. You will play a crucial role in accelerating customer adoption and success by translating complex business problems into quantum and hybrid quantum-classical solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and qualify new opportunities.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
- Lead technical discussions with customers to understand their requirements and challenges.
- Design and propose quantum computing solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Assist customers with proof-of-concept projects, pilots, and full-scale deployments.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers throughout their journey.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in quantum computing and optimization.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, best practices, and training materials.
What you’ll bring:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Ph.D. is a plus.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant).
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex optimization solutions for enterprise customers.
- Strong background in classical optimization techniques (e.g., linear programming, integer programming, heuristic algorithms, metaheuristics).
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and architectures (annealing, gate-model) is a strong plus.
- Experience with Python and relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, SciPy, pandas, Gurobi, CPLEX, PuLP).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is a plus.
