We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our analytics infrastructure, enabling us to make data-driven decisions that propel our product forward.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data models within our data warehouse (Snowflake).
- Build and optimize ELT pipelines to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain key metrics, dashboards, and reports using tools like Looker.
- Implement and enforce data governance best practices, ensuring data quality and compliance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analytics engineers.
- Research and evaluate new data tools and technologies to improve our analytics capabilities.
- Act as a subject matter expert on data within the organization.
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with a focus on data modeling and ETL/ELT development.
- Expertise in SQL and experience with a modern data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Proficiency with a BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong programming skills in Python (or similar) for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience with dbt (data build tool) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

- Experience with financial data or fintech industry.
- Experience with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD, testing).
