The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own our Data Science initiatives, focusing on customer analytics and experience across our full product suite. This role will lead the development of our customer segmentation, personalization, experimentation, and LTV prediction models and capabilities.
You’ll be a strategic leader, working closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven product decisions and deliver impactful solutions that enhance the customer journey and drive business growth.
This role is a highly collaborative position reporting directly to the VP, Product.
What You’ll Do
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for data science initiatives, focusing on customer analytics and experience.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate customer needs and business objectives into clear product requirements.
- Prioritize and manage the backlog of data science projects, ensuring alignment with overall product vision and strategic goals.
- Lead the development and launch of new data products and features, including customer segmentation, personalization engines, experimentation platforms, and LTV prediction models.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of data science initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to inform product iterations and improvements.
- Communicate product updates, progress, and results to stakeholders across the organization.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement within the product and data teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years focused on data products, data science, or analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with customer segmentation, personalization, experimentation (A/B testing), and lifetime value (LTV) prediction.
- Strong understanding of data science methodologies, including machine learning, statistical modeling, and experimental design.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in the insurance or fintech industry is a plus.
