Sales Sr. Strategic Business Developer – Financial Solutions

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Strategic Business Developer to join our Sales team and focus on Financial Solutions. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing strategic deals with key financial institutions and organizations within the social impact sector.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for Financial Solutions.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities with large, complex organizations in the social impact sector, focusing on financial institutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, within target accounts.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls and presentations to understand client needs and articulate the value proposition of Financial Solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success) to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals, including pricing, terms, and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in Salesforce CRM.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product developments in the financial solutions space.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic sales or business development, with a proven track record of exceeding targets in the financial solutions or social impact technology sector.
  • Deep understanding of financial processes, payment processing, fundraising technologies, and related industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close large, strategic deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • A passion for the social impact sector and a desire to contribute to a better world.
