Job Description
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the team that designs, builds, and operates the Compute Runtime platform. This platform provides the fundamental compute capabilities that power a vast array of services, from content encoding and machine learning to recommendation systems and personalized experiences.
As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our compute infrastructure. Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing software engineering teams.
- Demonstrated success in building and operating large-scale distributed systems and platforms.
- Strong technical background in cloud computing, operating systems, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C++).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for fostering a strong engineering culture and empowering teams to do their best work.
- A track record of attracting, hiring, and retaining top engineering talent.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
