We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant – Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions across various platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Architect and develop robust cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Provide expert guidance on cloud best practices, security standards, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, solution designs, and project plans.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Drive innovation by researching and implementing emerging cloud technologies and trends.
  • Participate in client-facing discussions, presenting technical solutions and building strong relationships.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget, adhering to high-quality standards.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years specializing in cloud architecture, engineering, and implementation.
  • Proven expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP), with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, networking, and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is C$189,000 to C$216,000 CAD. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. Actual compensation offers to a successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including education, skillset, experience, location, and performance. Benefits available to eligible employees include the following: Medical, dental, and vision; 401(k) plan; at least 120 hours of PTO, 8 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays (per year with an increase in each after a year of employment); paid parental leave; paid short-term disability; and paid life insurance.
