We are looking for a Group Director, Experience Strategy to join our team!
As the Group Director, Experience Strategy, you’ll partner with Experience and Creative Directors, Medical Directors, Project Managers, and Account Leads to define, lead, and implement integrated experience strategies across digital, relationship marketing, and offline channels. The Group Director, Experience Strategy provides a significant contribution to both existing accounts and new business pitches for the agency. We are seeking someone who is adept at understanding audience behavior and brand imperatives to create innovative, differentiating solutions grounded in data-driven insights.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development of experience strategies, customer journeys, ecosystem mapping, and engagement plans for key clients across a diverse range of therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Account, Creative, Technology, Media, Project Management, Medical, Data/Analytics) to ensure strategic solutions are feasible and executed effectively.
- Manage and mentor a team of Experience Strategists, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Represent the agency as a thought leader in experience strategy, both internally and externally.
- Contribute to new business development by developing strategic approaches and presentations.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital experience, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.
- Develop and present strategic recommendations to clients, clearly articulating the rationale and expected impact.
- Work closely with Data/Analytics to define measurement plans, analyze performance, and optimize strategies.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in digital strategy, experience strategy, or a related field, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical/healthcare advertising agency experience (REQUIRED)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful experience strategies for complex brands.
- Deep understanding of digital platforms, technologies, and trends, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and analytics.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment.
- Experience with UX principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks and tools (e.g., journey mapping, personas, competitive analysis).
