As a Senior Quality Engineer I, you’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing robust testing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement in our testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior quality engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Contribute to the overall quality strategy and roadmap for our platform.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role, with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
