As a Senior Product Manager on the Oddball team, you’ll be involved in multiple aspects of the product development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and scale innovative digital products. You’ll work closely with design, engineering, and program management to define product strategy, roadmap, and requirements for our government clients. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences and has a proven track record of successfully launching and iterating on complex products.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, program management, data science) to define product strategy, roadmap, and requirements.
- Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and market opportunities.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with overall product vision and business objectives.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to guide products through the entire product development lifecycle from conception to launch and iteration.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and new product opportunities.
- Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.
- Act as a product evangelist, promoting the product vision and strategy throughout the organization.
- Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering their professional growth and development.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on delivering successful digital products.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in government contracting or working with government clients is a plus.
- Experience with Federal healthcare systems (e.g., VA, CMS, DHA) is a plus.
- Product Management certifications (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PM/PO) are a plus.
