Sr. Product Marketing Manager/Developer Platform API

We are seeking a seasoned and enthusiastic Senior Product Marketing Manager to champion our developer platform and API products. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning for our innovative developer tools.

You’ll work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to drive adoption, engagement, and ultimately, the success of our developer ecosystem. What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for our developer platform and API products, including product launches, feature releases, and ongoing adoption campaigns.
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that clearly articulates the value proposition of our developer tools to various developer segments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the developer platform and API, understanding its capabilities, use cases, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to ensure alignment on product roadmap, feature development, and marketing initiatives.
  • Create and deliver sales enablement materials, developer documentation, tutorials, blog posts, webinars, and other content to educate and engage developers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and developer feedback to identify new opportunities and inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Drive product adoption and engagement through various channels, including developer communities, events, partnerships, and digital marketing.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key developers, partners, and industry influencers to foster a thriving developer ecosystem.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data to optimize strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Act as an internal evangelist for the developer platform and API, promoting its value and ensuring consistent messaging across all teams.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on B2B SaaS, developer tools, or API products.
  • Proven experience marketing developer-focused products and platforms, with a strong understanding of the developer journey and pain points.
  • Deep understanding of APIs, SDKs, and developer ecosystems, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • Strong empathy for developers and a passion for creating tools that empower them.
  • Experience with blockchain, Web3, or privacy-enhancing technologies is a significant plus.
