Are you a solutions engineer who enjoys working with customers and helping them achieve success? Do you have deep technical skills and love to solve complex problems? We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer in EMEA to join our growing Solutions Engineering team.
What you’ll do:
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, and technical proof-of-concept for prospects.
- Serve as the technical lead in all sales engagements with prospects.
- Present to all levels of the customer organization, including C-level, IT management, and technical staff.
- Communicate prospect requirements to the Product Management team.
- Participate in creating and delivering technical presentations at conferences and webinars.
- Assist in creating technical content for the website, blog, and other media.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to align on strategy and outcomes for our customers.
- Provide technical support for the entire sales process, from initial contact to close.
- Work closely with the R&D team to stay up-to-date on product developments and contribute to future product enhancements.
- Travel: Approximately 20%, but varies based on business needs and location.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or Consultant.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver successful technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Proficiency with modern cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Datadog, ELK stack).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and/or programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, Node.js).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to travel as required.
