Tines is looking for an experienced Renewals Manager to own a specific segment of our customer renewals. This person will be responsible for commercial renewals and will manage the entire renewal sales cycle from inception to close.
As a Renewals Manager, you will be a critical member of our Go-to-Market team, working closely with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Sales Leadership to drive successful renewal outcomes. Your expertise in contract negotiation, customer relationship management, and strategic planning will be essential in ensuring the long-term success and satisfaction of our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage a portfolio of renewal contracts, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes.
- Own commercial renewals and manage the entire renewal sales cycle from inception to close.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize churn and maximize renewal rates, including upselling and cross-selling where applicable.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and other internal teams to align renewal strategies with overall account goals.
- Accurately forecast renewal rates and provide regular updates on pipeline health to leadership.
- Negotiate complex contracts and commercial terms with customers, ensuring favorable terms for Tines.
- Identify at-risk accounts and proactively develop mitigation plans to secure renewals.
- Maintain accurate records of all renewal activities in CRM and other relevant systems.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their evolving needs and positioning Tines solutions effectively.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of renewal processes and playbooks.
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of experience in a Renewals, Account Management, or Sales role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding renewal targets and driving customer retention.
- Strong negotiation and objection handling skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Experience with security or automation software is a plus.
