We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help lead strategy, roadmap, and execution for Product Policy & Safety on our Brand Ads team. This role focuses on ensuring ads are safe and compliant for users while meeting advertiser expectations, directly contributing to our trust and safety initiatives for both users and brands. What You’ll Do:
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Brand Safety & Trust within our Ads product ecosystem.
- Drive the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration, collaborating closely with engineering, design, policy, and legal teams.
- Develop a deep understanding of Reddit’s advertising ecosystem, user behavior, and industry best practices for brand safety, content moderation, and policy enforcement.
- Prioritize and manage a backlog of initiatives, balancing user experience, advertiser needs, policy requirements, and business goals.
- Launch and iterate on features that detect, prevent, and mitigate risks associated with unsafe or non-compliant advertising content, working closely with the Ads Policy team.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, regularly reporting on progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Legal, Policy, Communications, Sales, and Trust & Safety to ensure a comprehensive and aligned approach to brand safety.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Brand Safety & Trust within the Ads Product organization, influencing product strategy and fostering a culture of safety-by-design.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on ads products, brand safety, trust & safety, content moderation, or policy enforcement.
- Experience in driving product strategy, roadmap, and execution for complex products within a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of shipping successful products that deliver measurable impact.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions and measure outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, design, policy, and legal teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning and AI technologies applied to content understanding, moderation, or risk detection.
- Experience working on user-generated content platforms or social media.
- A deep understanding of the advertising industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory landscape related to brand safety and privacy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
