Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting our financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. This individual will be responsible for developing financial models, conducting variance analysis, preparing budgets and forecasts, and providing valuable insights to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to identify key drivers and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key financial performance indicators and trends.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data, understand business operations, and develop accurate financial projections.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions) are essential.
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, Anaplan) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
