The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Marketing Engineer to bridge the gap between our innovative technology and market demands. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert, creating compelling content, delivering engaging presentations, and collaborating closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to drive market adoption and ensure customer success.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert (SME) for our solutions.
- Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Create high-quality technical content including whitepapers, solution briefs, blogs, datasheets, and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to translate technical capabilities into customer-facing value propositions.
- Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights to sales and product teams.
- Support sales cycles by addressing technical questions, conducting proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, and providing deep-dive technical discussions.
- Represent at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
- Gather market feedback and contribute to product roadmap decisions.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in technical marketing, sales engineering, product management, or a similar customer-facing technical role in the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of web security, network security, cloud security, and endpoint security technologies (e.g., Secure Web Gateway, CASB, ZTNA, DLP, Endpoint Protection).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to create high-quality technical content.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Deep knowledge of the competitive landscape in cybersecurity.
