Sr. Live Operations Manager

About the Role

As a Sr. Live Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of our mobile games’ live services.

You will play a critical role in driving the success of our games by ensuring a compelling and engaging experience for our players. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have a direct impact on the success of our titles.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with game teams to define the Live Operations strategy, identify key KPIs, and align on goals that drive player engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Own the day-to-day execution of Live Operations, including event scheduling, content releases, promotional campaigns, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor game performance metrics, analyze player behavior, and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Game Designers, Engineers, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of Live Operations plans.
  • Manage the Live Operations calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content and events while maintaining a high level of quality and player satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement A/B tests to optimize event performance and identify best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Live Operations, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve our approach.
  • Act as a player advocate, gathering feedback and communicating player sentiment to the development team to inform future game updates.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Live Operations Specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Live Operations, Product Management, or a similar role within the mobile gaming industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning, executing, and optimizing Live Operations strategies for mobile games.
  • Deep understanding of mobile game KPIs, monetization models, and player psychology.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
  • Passion for mobile games and a deep understanding of the gaming landscape.
