About Hometap
As a Manager on the Financial Products team, you’ll drive the strategic direction and tactical execution for how we evolve our core offerings to serve homeowners. This role reports to the Head of Product and will play a critical role in shaping the future of Hometap’s product suite, ensuring we continue to deliver innovative and impactful solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the strategic development, definition, and delivery of new and existing financial products, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Capital Markets, Servicing) to define product requirements, roadmap, and go-to-market strategies.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and inform product decisions.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation, design, development, launch, and post-launch iteration, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success and drive continuous improvement based on data and insights.
- Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, collaborating with legal and compliance teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on home equity financial products and market trends, providing thought leadership and guidance to the team.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, financial services, or a related field, with a focus on home equity products (e.g., HELOCs, cash-out refinances, home equity investments).
- Strong understanding of financial products, capital markets, and regulatory environments.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing financial products from conception to scale.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
