About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Investment Strategy to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our investment strategies, evaluating new opportunities, and optimizing our financial products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Capital Markets, Product, and Engineering, to drive strategic initiatives and contribute to the company’s continued growth.
What you’ll do:
- Partner closely with the Capital Markets team to inform financing strategies, identify new financing opportunities, and drive ongoing optimization of existing debt and equity facilities.
- Partner closely with the Product team to inform new product development, identify opportunities for product enhancement, and support product testing.
- Develop and own complex financial models and other analytical tools to evaluate investment opportunities (e.g., market expansion, new product features, product pricing) and inform strategic decisions across the business.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, assess risks, and evaluate new market opportunities.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and analyses for internal stakeholders and external partners, clearly articulating key insights and recommendations.
- Present key findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Capital Markets, Engineering, and Operations, to drive strategic initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate strategy, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering measurable results.
- Experience in the financial services or fintech industry, particularly with consumer lending, real estate, or structured finance products, is a plus.
