As a Software Engineer on the AI Agents team, you’ll be at the forefront of building the future of generative AI applications that leverage Hightouch’s Data Activation Platform. You’ll work on cutting-edge features that empower our customers to orchestrate complex data workflows, automate tasks, and gain deeper insights through intelligent agents. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the core of our AI offerings and contribute to a product that redefines how businesses interact with their data.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable AI agent applications.
- Build and maintain the core infrastructure for running and managing AI agents, including LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, and agent memory systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of our AI agent platform.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and propose innovative solutions.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development.
- Strong proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Rust).
- Experience building and deploying scalable, production-grade applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with generative AI, LLMs, or related fields.
- Experience with data activation, ETL, or data warehousing.
