About the Role:
As the Head of Sales, you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for driving the entire sales strategy and execution. This is a unique opportunity to shape the sales function from the ground up and make a significant impact on our growth trajectory. You will be instrumental in building our sales organization, establishing scalable processes, and ultimately accelerating our revenue growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue goals.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team (initially managing individual contributors, then hiring and scaling).
- Own the entire sales funnel, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and account management.
- Identify and target key accounts, develop strong relationships with decision-makers, and negotiate complex contracts.
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and identify new market opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role (Head of Sales, VP Sales, or similar).
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving significant growth in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Deep understanding of the AI/ML landscape and experience selling complex technical solutions to enterprise clients.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to attract, hire, and retain top sales talent.
- Highly analytical, data-driven, and comfortable with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics platforms.
- Player-coach mentality, willing to roll up your sleeves and close deals while building out the team.
- Experience in a remote-first company is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
