As a Senior Financial Analyst on the Corporate Finance Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Mozilla’s strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. You will collaborate closely with various departments to provide financial insights, drive informed decision-making, and ensure the efficient allocation of resources to achieve our mission.
What you’ll do:
- Lead financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances and providing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, identify trends, and provide financial insights.
- Evaluate potential risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in advanced Excel and financial software (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Hyperion).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), financial statements, and corporate finance concepts.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
