Commercial Account Executive – Acquisition

As a Commercial Account Executive, Acquisition, you will be on the front lines, introducing Grafana Labs and our observability solutions to prospective customers. You’ll work a full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to developing opportunity strategy, negotiation, and closing.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from discovery to close.
  • Generate new pipeline by identifying and engaging with prospective customers.
  • Conduct thorough discovery calls to understand customer needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Present Grafana Labs’ solutions and value proposition to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales engineers and other internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce.
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on Grafana Labs products, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Partner with marketing and business development teams on lead generation campaigns.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a full-cycle B2B SaaS sales role, preferably in the observability or monitoring space.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of the observability market, including key players and trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Fluency in Dutch and English required.

Workplace Flexibility

This is a full-time, hybrid remote role based in the Netherlands. We are looking for someone to cover our Netherlands territory. While this position is primarily hybrid-remote, occasional travel to customer sites and company events is expected.

Salary ranges

The compensation range for this role is C$144k – C$180k.
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. This range is an estimate.
