Technical Video Content Creator

We are looking for a creative and technically proficient Video Content Creator to join our Developer Education team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video tutorials and educational content that empowers developers to successfully build with our products. You’ll combine your deep understanding of technical concepts with your passion for visual storytelling to create engaging and informative learning experiences.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan, script, shoot, and edit engaging technical video tutorials, demos, and educational content that showcase our products and APIs.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and developer advocates to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice, visual style, and production quality across all video content.
  • Optimize video content for various distribution channels, including YouTube, our documentation portal, and social media.
  • Stay current with video production tools, techniques, and industry best practices to continuously improve content quality and efficiency.
  • Analyze video performance metrics to inform content strategy and iterate on formats and topics.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on video best practices for other teams within the company.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in technical video production, developer education, or a related role.
  • Proven portfolio of high-quality technical video content.
  • Proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
  • Strong understanding of video production workflows, including pre-production (scripting, storyboarding), production (lighting, audio recording, camera operation), and post-production.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging video explanations.
  • Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with live streaming and webinar production is a bonus.
  • A passion for teaching and empowering developers.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
