Principal Product Manager – Security & Compliance

As a Principal Product Manager for Security & Compliance at the company, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for key areas within our Security & Compliance offering.

What you’ll do

  • Define and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for key areas within our Security & Compliance offering.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, impactful security features.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs are met and problems are solved effectively.
  • Define and track key metrics to measure the success of your product initiatives.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, security best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Mentor and guide other product managers, sharing your expertise and contributing to the overall growth of the team.
  • Contribute to the broader product organization by participating in cross-team initiatives and sharing best practices.

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on security and compliance products.
  • Deep understanding of the security landscape, including common threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex security products.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to product decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Experience working with developer tools or platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
