Twilio is looking for a Presales Architect. This is a remote role for candidates based in the USA.
Twilio helps companies reach and engage their customers. They are looking for someone to help prospective customers learn how to build great communication experiences with Twilio, helping them understand what is possible. You will join the Presales organisation, with a focus on IoT (Internet of Things) and Edge technology.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives, building strong working relationships.
- Be accountable for technical win/loss on all accounts you support.
- Participate in customer-facing discovery, deep dive sessions, and demonstrations.
- Proactively seek out new opportunities for Twilio at existing customers.
- Develop solutions that address customer needs using Twilio products.
- Deliver compelling presentations that articulate the business value of Twilio’s offerings.
- Provide technical support during trials and proof-of-concepts, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date on Twilio products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Presales team, sharing best practices and developing new tools and methodologies.
Why you’re a great fit:
- You have 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant), ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- You have strong technical skills, with experience in programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, C#) and web technologies (e.g., REST APIs, webhooks).
- You have experience with IoT/Edge computing platforms and protocols.
- You have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You have a passion for learning new technologies and solving complex customer problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
