About the Job
As a Senior Director of Product, Value-based Care and Physician Systems, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing the product strategy and roadmap for Value-based Care (VBC) and Physician Systems, aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes, reducing healthcare costs, and improving the patient experience. This role entails leading a team of product managers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and clinical operations, and engaging with key stakeholders. You will leverage your deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, value-based care models, and physician workflows to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions that address the evolving needs of healthcare providers and patients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for Value-based Care and Physician Systems, aligning with company’s overall business objectives and market opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify unmet needs, market trends, and product opportunities.
- Define and prioritize product requirements, features, and user stories, working closely with engineering, design, and clinical teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and client success teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and sales enablement materials.
- Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on products based on data-driven insights and customer feedback.
- Ensure products comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for Value-based Care and Physician Systems, both internally and externally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Administration). Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, managing product managers.
- Proven track record of success in defining, launching, and scaling healthcare technology products, specifically within Value-based Care, EMR/EHR systems, or physician workflow solutions.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including payer-provider dynamics, regulatory landscape, and emerging trends in value-based care.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into actionable product strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Additional Requirements
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools to drive product insights.
- Familiarity with interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and healthcare data exchange.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
