What you will do:
- Design, implement, and maintain privacy-enhancing technologies and controls.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into product development life cycles.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and threat models to identify and mitigate privacy risks.
- Develop and enforce privacy policies and standards across various systems and applications.
- Stay informed about privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD) and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
- Support incident response activities related to privacy breaches and data protection.
- Educate and advise internal teams on privacy engineering best practices and principles.
- Automate privacy controls and processes where possible to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Contribute to the development of privacy tools and frameworks.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in privacy engineering, security engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of privacy principles, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD), and security best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Ability to conduct privacy impact assessments and threat modeling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
