Staff GTM Engineer (AI & Automation)

About the Role:

Join Grafana Labs’ dynamic AI & Automation team as a Staff GTM Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AI/ML and automation offerings. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced engineer to blend their technical prowess with strategic Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives, driving adoption and success of innovative solutions. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to translate complex AI/ML capabilities into compelling value propositions and practical customer solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to understand AI/ML product capabilities and translate them into compelling Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions, demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that showcase the value of our AI/ML and automation offerings to potential customers and partners.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for AI/ML and automation, providing guidance and support to sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Create and deliver technical content, including presentations, workshops, and documentation, to educate internal teams and external audiences on our AI/ML solutions.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform product development and refine GTM strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML and automation to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy and execution of Grafana Labs’ AI/ML and automation initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in a technical role, with a strong focus on Go-To-Market (GTM) engineering, solutions architecture, or sales engineering.
  • Proven experience with AI/ML technologies, including machine learning frameworks, data science tools, and cloud-based AI/ML services (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, Google AI Platform, Azure ML).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and experience with scripting for automation and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and platforms (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes) and experience integrating them into GTM strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for understanding customer needs and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
