Specific skills: Conduct and review research, and analyze information, to provide advice and recommendations on land use and development. Prepare reports, feasibility studies, and environmental impact statements. Prepare and administer land use plans and zoning bylaws. Advise on economic, social and environmental factors affecting land use and present plans at public meetings and workshops. Develop land use plans and programs, and administer land use plans and zoning by-laws. Mediate and resolve land use and development disputes. Job requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree.
