About the role
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Zone team. You’ll be responsible for building and improving features that enable large organizations to automate their workflows securely and at scale. This is a backend-focused role with full-stack opportunities, working across our entire technology stack.
The Enterprise Zone is a strategic focus area for us, as we serve an increasing number of large businesses with complex automation needs. As part of this team, you’ll be crucial in developing robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet the demands of our enterprise customers. You’ll work on everything from core backend services to integration with various systems, ensuring a seamless experience for our high-value users.
What you’ll do
- Build new features and improve existing ones within the Enterprise Zone, focusing on features that enable large organizations to automate workflows securely and at scale.
- Work across the full stack, with a primary focus on backend development, contributing to the entire lifecycle from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and actively participate in code reviews, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement improvements to system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support the systems you help build.
Who you are
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience building and maintaining robust backend systems (e.g., using Python, Django, Node.js, Go, Ruby on Rails, Java, etc.).
- Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and an ability to work across the stack when needed.
- Experience designing, building, and scaling distributed systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- GraphQL
- AWS
- High-volume, low-latency systems
- Working on enterprise products
- Data analytics or machine learning
- Security best practices
