As a Principal Software Quality Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in elevating our software quality assurance practices, ensuring the highest standards across our product portfolio. You’ll lead the design and implementation of advanced testing strategies, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement in our QA processes, contributing significantly to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced testing strategies and frameworks.
- Define and ensure adherence to quality metrics, standards, and best practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to integrate quality early and often.
- Mentor and guide other QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Drive automation initiatives to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex software defects, working with engineers to resolve them.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software quality assurance.
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance or engineering, with a focus on automation.
- Proven experience in a lead or principal role, guiding QA teams and defining strategy.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright).
- Proficiency in programming languages like C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
