We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing product team. As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our platform, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and impactful solutions. This role is responsible for the overall user experience and user interface design of our product, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring new features and improvements to life.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery to delivery, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into compelling user experiences.
- Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across the platform.
- Present and articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams and leadership, gathering feedback and iterating as needed.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles, conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve our product.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence within the team.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and solutions.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design.
- Experience working in an agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale effectively.
- A passion for solving complex problems and creating intuitive, impactful products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience designing for SaaS products or marketplaces is a plus.
- Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
