As a Principal Security Engineer focused on Infrastructure Security, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced security measures to protect our core infrastructure. In this role, you will:
- Design and implement cutting-edge security architectures for our cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Lead efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across our systems, networks, and applications.
- Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to uncover and address weaknesses.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the SDLC, advocating for secure design principles and practices.
- Respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
- Mentor and guide junior security engineers, fostering a culture of security awareness and excellence.
- Stay abreast of the latest security threats, technologies, and trends, continuously evolving our security strategy.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure security, with a strong focus on cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep expertise in network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, and data protection.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and robust security solutions in complex environments.
- Experience with security automation and orchestration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices, cryptographic principles, and common attack vectors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
