As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective customers through their evaluation of the platform, ensuring they recognize the full value and potential. You’ll be responsible for deeply understanding customer needs, demonstrating how the platform solves their business challenges, and ultimately driving successful adoption and implementation.
What you’ll do
- Act as a technical and product expert throughout the sales cycle, providing in-depth knowledge of platform capabilities.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand prospective customers’ existing tech stack, workflows, and business objectives.
- Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and technical deep-dives tailored to specific customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop winning strategies, address technical objections, and accelerate deal closure.
- Develop and present custom solutions, including proof-of-concept (POC) applications and integrations, demonstrating value.
- Support the creation of technical proposals, RFPs, and security questionnaires.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, building strong relationships and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Gather customer feedback and insights, collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing teams to influence product development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and product roadmap to maintain expert-level knowledge.
What you’ll need
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role within a SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with API integrations, data mapping, and custom scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a consultative approach to understanding and addressing customer challenges.
- Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings, industry events, and internal team gatherings.
