We are seeking an experienced EHR/Platform Integration Architect who specializes in healthcare system integrations (EHR, Enterprise applications, etc.) to join our dynamic and growing team. As a key member of our Professional Services team, you will serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring seamless integration of our platform into diverse healthcare ecosystems.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients on integration strategies, best practices, and technology selection.
* Design, develop, and implement robust integration solutions between GetWell’s platform and various healthcare systems (EHRs, ADT, scheduling, billing, etc.).
* Lead the technical design and architectural discussions, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable integration designs.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, technical consultants, and development teams to ensure successful project delivery from conception to go-live.
* Conduct thorough analysis of existing client systems and data flows to identify integration opportunities, challenges, and potential solutions.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration designs, specifications, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members on integration best practices, tools, and technologies.
* Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and standards in healthcare integration (e.g., FHIR, HL7, API management).
* Participate in pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise to support proposals, client presentations, and solution demonstrations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues during implementation and post-go-live phases, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) in all integration solutions.
Prerequisites:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in healthcare IT, with a strong focus on system integration architecture.
* Proven experience with major EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH, Allscripts) and their integration capabilities.
* Extensive experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2.x, FHIR, CDA, IHE profiles).
* Demonstrated experience with various integration technologies and platforms (e.g., Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Azure Logic Apps, AWS Step Functions, Kafka, MuleSoft).
* Experience with API design and management, including RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and API gateways.
* Experience with data transformation and mapping tools.
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and their integration services.
* Experience working in an agile development environment.
* Deep understanding of healthcare workflows and data models.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple priorities.
* Strong presentation and client-facing skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices in healthcare.
* Certifications in integration technologies or cloud platforms are a plus.
* Experience with SQL databases and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
