Director – Solutions Engineering, Capital Markets

As a Director of Solutions Engineering, Capital Markets, you’ll lead a team of Solutions Engineers, partnering closely with our product, engineering, and business development teams to drive the adoption and success of our Capital Markets offerings within the financial institution sector. You will be instrumental in shaping our technical sales strategy, building deep relationships with key clients, and ensuring our products meet the evolving needs of the Capital Markets industry. This is a critical leadership role that requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strong client-facing skills, and a passion for leading and developing talent.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and grow a high-performing Solutions Engineering team focused on Capital Markets clients and products.
  • Partner with Capital Markets Product, Engineering, and Business Development teams to deeply understand client needs, technical challenges, and market opportunities.
  • Drive the technical sales cycle for Capital Markets offerings, including conducting product demonstrations, technical presentations, and in-depth discussions with prospects and existing clients.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, guiding them through the implementation and integration of our Capital Markets products.
  • Develop and deliver compelling technical content, including solution guides, integration patterns, and best practices.
  • Gather client feedback and insights, collaborating with product and engineering teams to influence our Capital Markets product roadmap.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Capital Markets and digital asset space.

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Sales, or a related client-facing technical role, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Deep expertise in Capital Markets technologies, including trading systems, market data, post-trade processing, and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial institutions (e.g., investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, broker-dealers) and their operational workflows.
  • Experience with blockchain technology and digital assets is a significant plus.
  • Proven track record of success in driving complex technical sales cycles and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
