We are looking for a Director, Product Partnerships & Growth to join our global Product team focusing on CPN (Circle Payments Network) products. This role will be responsible for defining and driving strategic product partnerships within the Payments ecosystem, leveraging Circle’s platform to enable new use cases, expand market reach, and accelerate growth.
As a Director, Product Partnerships & Growth, you will be a key player in expanding Circle’s footprint in the global payments landscape by identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with key players across the payment value chain. You will work closely with product, engineering, sales, legal, and compliance teams to ensure successful execution and alignment with Circle’s overall business objectives.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Define and execute a comprehensive product partnerships strategy aligned with CPN’s overall product roadmap and business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential payment partners (e.g., banks, payment processors, fintechs, wallets) that can enhance CPN’s capabilities and market footprint.
- Lead end-to-end partnership lifecycle from initial outreach, negotiation, integration, to ongoing relationship management and optimization.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Marketing) to ensure successful integration and launch of new partnership-driven products/features.
- Develop compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies for new payment solutions built on Circle’s platform with partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes within the payments ecosystem to identify new opportunities and threats.
- Drive product innovation by identifying gaps in the market and collaborating with partners to develop new payment products and services.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of partnerships and product initiatives, reporting regularly on progress and impact.
- Act as a subject matter expert on payment partnerships, representing Circle at industry events and conferences.
What you’ll bring to Circle:
- 10+ years of experience in product management, business development, or partnerships roles within the payments or fintech industry, with a strong focus on strategic partnerships and growth initiatives.
- Deep understanding of the global payments ecosystem, including payment rails, processing, acquiring, issuing, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and launching complex product partnerships that have driven significant business impact.
- Strong product sense with the ability to translate market needs and partner capabilities into compelling product solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization and with external partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and measure partnership success.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in a startup or high-growth technology company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Bonus Points: Experience with blockchain technology, digital assets, or crypto payments.
