- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines using various data integration tools and technologies.
- Design, implement, and optimize data models in data warehouses and data lakes to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms and processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Implement best practices for data governance, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to the overall architectural vision of data platforms.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services (e.g., S3, EC2, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Proficiency in Python or other programming languages for data manipulation and scripting.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
