Circle seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Engineer II to join our dynamic team, focusing on Payments and Enterprise solutions. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in financial technology and payment systems to design, implement, and optimize robust solutions for our enterprise clients. You will be a key technical advisor, bridging the gap between client business requirements and Circle’s cutting-edge products, ensuring successful integration and maximizing value.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to understand client needs and translate them into technical solutions leveraging Circle’s suite of products, with a particular focus on payment rails, treasury, and blockchain technology.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Circle’s API, SDKs, and payment infrastructure, guiding clients through technical integrations and best practices.
- Develop and present technical demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and solution architectures tailored to specific enterprise client use cases.
- Provide in-depth technical support during the pre-sales and post-sales phases, troubleshooting integration challenges and ensuring seamless client onboarding.
- Gather client feedback and collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation of Circle’s offerings.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes in financial technology, payments, and blockchain.
- Lead technical workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, integration guides, and other collateral to support client success.
What you’ll bring to Circle:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or similar client-facing technical role, with a strong focus on financial technology, payments, or enterprise software.
- Proven experience with API integrations, RESTful services, and SDKs, preferably within a payment processing or blockchain context.
- Deep understanding of payment systems, treasury management, and blockchain technology, including stablecoins and digital assets.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and associated services is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial services is a plus.
