About the Job
As a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) on the AI Platform/OS team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the execution of our cutting-edge AI platform and operating system initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth, program management expertise, and strong communication skills to lead complex, cross-functional projects from inception to delivery.
We are building foundational AI/ML capabilities across our portfolio of companies to deliver secure, impactful, and differentiated solutions in fields critical to national security and healthcare. As an early member of the AI Platform/OS team, you will have the opportunity to define and build the scalable infrastructure, tools, and services that empower our data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy state-of-the-art AI applications.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage complex technical programs related to the AI Platform/OS, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and high-quality outcomes.
- Define and refine program roadmaps, objectives, and key results (OKRs) in collaboration with engineering, product, and research teams.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, communication, and decision-making among various stakeholders, including engineering leads, product managers, researchers, and senior leadership.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve dependencies, and proactively address challenges to keep programs on track.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in program management, agile methodologies, and technical excellence within the AI Platform/OS team.
- Communicate program status, risks, and achievements to all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with a strong focus on AI/ML platforms, distributed systems, or operating systems.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale technical projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including data pipelines, model training, deployment, and inference.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex architectural designs and engage in technical discussions with engineers.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, adapting to changing priorities and making data-driven decisions.
- Experience in the national security or healthcare technology sectors is a plus.
