As a Manager, Machine Learning, Media Planning, you will lead a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop and deploy cutting-edge ML models that optimize media planning and buying across all marketing channels globally. This is a critical role that will have a direct impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing spend.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- Define the technical vision and roadmap for media planning ML initiatives.
- Drive the end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of ML models, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, product, and finance teams to identify opportunities and deliver solutions that address key business challenges.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, media planning, and related fields, and incorporate relevant innovations into our strategies.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and operational excellence within the team.
What You’ll Need:
- 10+ years of experience in data science or machine learning, with a focus on building and deploying production-grade ML systems.
- 5+ years of experience managing and leading teams of data scientists or ML engineers.
- Strong technical background in machine learning, statistics, and data modeling.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: causal inference, time series forecasting, optimization, reinforcement learning, recommendation systems, or large-scale experimentation.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Snowflake) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful ML solutions that drive business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field. Ph.D. is a plus.
