About the Role
As a Principal Product Manager for the Experimentation Platform, you will lead the product strategy and roadmap for our experimentation platform, a critical component of Netflix’s data-driven culture. This role involves building highly leveraged platform capabilities that enable product teams across Netflix to rapidly and reliably test new ideas, measure impact, and make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the experimentation platform, ensuring alignment with overall product and company goals.
- Lead the product development lifecycle from conception to launch, including ideation, specification, prioritization, and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, design, and other product teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Drive user research, gather feedback, and analyze market trends to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Communicate product updates, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Prerequisites
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years focused on platform products, developer tools, or experimentation systems.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex, high-impact products in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical understanding of A/B testing methodologies, statistical analysis, and large-scale data platforms.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience working in an agile development environment with a strong focus on iterative delivery.
