Account Executive

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, specifically within the supply chain logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage industry. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and fostering long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the assigned territory or vertical.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand client challenges and propose tailored solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate our AI-powered digital freight forwarding platform to potential clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, customer success) to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and generate leads.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales (5+ years preferred).
  • Experience in the supply chain logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and global logistics processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
