The Commerce Product Design team is responsible for the overall payment and signup experience for members globally. We work on high-impact initiatives that span across member signup, billing, and payments to ensure a delightful and secure experience.
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our Commerce Design Systems team. As a Senior Product Designer on the Commerce Design Systems team, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of design systems that power Commerce experiences.
What you will do
- Drive the vision, strategy, and execution of design systems for Commerce experiences, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality user experience.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define, prioritize, and deliver scalable design solutions.
- Lead the design and development of reusable UI components, patterns, and guidelines that empower product teams to build consistent and efficient commerce experiences.
- Advocate for design system best practices, ensuring accessibility, usability, and performance are at the forefront of our design decisions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Mentor and inspire junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous learning.
- Present and articulate design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders, gathering feedback and iterating on solutions.
What you will bring
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a strong focus on design systems or complex product interfaces.
- A portfolio showcasing your expertise in design systems, interaction design, visual design, and problem-solving.
- Expertise in creating and maintaining design systems for large-scale consumer-facing products.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design implementation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a keen eye for detail.
